We have finally finished the tuning in phase of the exhibition! We have finished our central idea, lines of inquiry and key questions. My central idea is “Our differences deserve respect and acceptance.”
My lines of inquiry and their related concepts are:
- An inquiry into what made women inspired to change gender inequality – Perspective
- An inquiry into what rights are different between men and women- Form
- An inquiry into how the gender gap has changed over the past 10 years- Change
It was tough during the tuning in phase. Making my central idea was really hard, it took 2 weeks forming concepts and ‘marrying them together’. Afterwards, we wrote all of the questions we could think of and put them in the lotus diagram. (This is the link to the lotus diagram image: This is the Link!! ) It was really hard afterwards because we had to puck our 3 favourite questions. I eventually picked these questions: What made women inspired to change gender inequality, What are the different rights between men and women and How has the gender gap changed over the past 10 years? And up to now, we are just trying to research as much as we can before the next phase.
